The
Seasons East Greenwich

The Seasons East Greenwich is a non-profit assisted living
and memory impaired care residence which opened in December,
2002. We are located at Five Saint Elizabeth Way, East Greenwich,
Rhode Island, on the grounds of the Saint Elizabeth Home skilled
nursing facility. Saint Elizabeth Way is located off of Post
Road at Grand View Avenue.
Our Founders are the Scandinavian Home and Steere House Nursing
and Rehabilitation Center, two pre-eminent Rhode Island non-profits
with over 200 years of collective experience in assisted living,
nursing and Alzheimer's care.
The Seasons offers 84 private apartments designed to provide
a welcome, pleasant, and safe residential environment. The
lifestyle honors each individual's independence, privacy,
dignity, and personal needs, yet foster a sense of community
and belonging. Sixty-four of the apartments are for traditional
assisted living care including three daily meals prepared
by our chef and served in our elegant dining room, personal
care assistance, medication monitoring or administration,
and weekly housekeeping and laundry services. Common areas
include a country kitchen, pub, library, living room, craft
room, game room, fitness center, solarium, beauty salon/barber
shop, and private dining room for entertaining family or friends.
We offer studio, one and two bedroom apartments with varying
designs. Each apartment includes a kitchenette with microwave,
refrigerator with freezer, and a full bath with walk-in shower
with safety features.
The remaining 20 apartments are in Grandview Gardens. This
is a safe and secure area especially designed and staffed
to meet the differing needs of residents with Alzheimer's
Disease, dementia, or other memory impairments. Therapeutic
programs to enhance the spirit, mind, and body are part of
our daily activities. We also offer support groups and meetings
for families and other caregivers. Each apartment is a private
studio with a full bath with safety features. Common areas
include a dining room, living room, solarium, beauty salon/barber
shop, and an enclosed exterior courtyard.
The entire residence has individual heat and air conditioning
controls in each apartment. There are emergency call systems
in all apartments and an emergency generator in case of loss
of electrical power.
Through our founding members, the Scandinavian Home in Cranston
and Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Providence,
and our association with Saint Elizabeth Home, we are able
to facilitate priority admission to Rhode Island's finest
nursing homes.
